This place - the junction of Gunāra Astras and Deglava streets - could be regarded as the centre of Purvciems (most inhabited Riga's district). There are several largest things here - the largest Maxima supermarket, one of the largest public screens in Riga and Astra Lux apartment highrise which is the highest building in Riga's right bank.
