Potatoes are main element of food in Latvia - we have a saying: "Potato is a second bread". Many of us (including me) can't imagine a "real meal" without potatoes being one of it's ingredients (usually together with some meat dish). This potato field is in springtime, but now the harvesting time isn't far away.

Few years ago potatoes too was a main element of food in Denmark, but now pasta and rice are very populare. I like it all :)
