Sigulda - Gleznotājkalns view

Something for a change - Sigulda is the place about 50 km from Riga centre where many Rigans and city guests go in autumns. Beautiful, almost wild nature opens it's scenery over the Gauja river valley from several viewpoints there. This is one of the most famous - Gleznotājkalns (Painter Man Hill) 12 km view I visited it Thursday. It's interesting that in trolleybus from my neighbourhood to centre there was a couple who also talked about going farther to Sigulda. Great weather has been more than a week here but weather prognosis is that in Sunday there will be back cyclone and grey skies.
