Kvass was a very popular refreshing drink in Soviet times, and it still has some popularity even today, in Coca Cola, Fanta, Vichy, etc etc era. This summer is especially hot (this pic is from last though) and poured kvass sellers have appeared even at supermarkets somewhere. Here you see them in Riga Central Market. Sadly, mostly they sell very low-quality kvass, really untasty. Last time when I drank good poured kvass was in summer 2005, and that one I bought in Imanta market.
