Sushi corner

Sushi has became rather popular here, although it's absolutely exotic food for us. I have heard many likes it but I guess I will never understand how people can eat raw fish and even pay for it.

I am with you. I don't eat Sushi but for the simple reason that unless it is prepared properly, it can harbour many bacteria. Food poisoning in Sushi places around the world is common. Give me a sausage with potato salad any-day.

I have been to a couple of very nice Sushi Restaurants, last time in Berlin, but it is NOT my choice of dinner place either!! :-(

No thanks - but Sushi is very popular in Denmark, why as well restaurants as large Supermarket are selling it!

Sushi is a tasty and varied treat. I learned how to make my own from scratch when I lived in Tokyo and I don't eat in chain restaurants or purchase packaged supermarket fare where I can't see it being prepared. Even the sticky rice used is important and must be done just right, it is art to make and fun sociable meal to eat with friends.

Nice photo, still way too much snow for this time of year. Tripod?

Yeah, maybe sushi is even tasty, but as I said, I just can't accept the idea to eat something raw - fish or meat (I tried only half-raw steak once, and that was not only disgusting in taste but also just physically unchewable).
@TRex - the photo is taken in January. But we still have much snow. No, the photo is taken wihout the tripod.
