Green Carpet

Continuing the yesterday's theme, a pic of Christmas decorations in Vaļņu street (Old Town). This "green carpet" made by hundreds of light-bulbs created very cosy feeling in the street. In overall, this year's decorations were the best I have seen since I live in Riga - will share with pics of them time by time here. In November we had the beautiful light festival "Staro Rīga" and soon after Christmas lights until this time - that's how we successfully defeated winter's darkness this year.
