Under Vanšu bridge

View to left bank Riga over Daugava river with Vanšu bridge perspective from below. Left bank Riga (or as we call it Pārdaugava) is about 1/3 of the city (about 240 000 of 720 000 Riga's inhabitants lives there), but it's visual impression from the other side of Daugava or aerial views are very unurban - because there are mostly low-floor buildings hiding below sea of trees, Pārdaugava is very green. Here in the opposite bank you see Swedbank highrise which is the only one (but outstanding one!) modern highrise of our planned business district there (3 other great towers have started works too, but crisis has forced them to stay on hold).
