As seen in this photo, Riga's apartment districts can be very heterogenous in terms of buildings height. Low-floow small town-like houses mixes up with highrises and the "constant glue" between them is the sea of 5 and 9-floor buildings. It's hard to find a pretty composition of these soviet time districts but I think this angle of Purvciems (most populous Riga district) is quite eye-catching. To the left side, you see one of main streets of Purvciems reaching district's end - Dzelzavas street.
