Strasbourg timber-frame and Cathedral

First 4 days of this week I visited Strasbourg (due to job affairs in EU parliament). To my mind, Strasbourg in overall is a charming and very liveable city. On the first photo, there is an essence of the most beautiful things of the city - a historical timberframe houses and the Cathedral, Strasbourg's most magnificent building. Cathedral was world's highest building in medieval times, you can see it's frontal facade in details on the second photo:
