Theme Day: Pedestrian crossing

Today's City Daily photo Theme is pedestrian crossings. I'm going with the photo where you don't see the crossing itself but the traffic signs which indicates to it and the heads of pedestrians. Actually this pedestrian crossing is quite remarkable - some 50 metres wide! Here you can seen many other pedestrian crossings in world cities. [full_width]

  1. Nice one, reminds me of an old song, 'should I stay or should I go'...

  2. What does the red mark on the first sign mean?

  5. Thank you, all!
@Stefan - the red mark (strikethrough) means "end of", so in this case there ends bicycle and pedestrian lane which starts again after the pedestrian crossing.
