The sculpture "Hammersmith" on the building in Hospitāļu street 5 is designed by sculptor August Volz who has designed some of the most famous Riga monuments, like fountain in National Opera garden. Tenement house at Hospitāļu street 5 was built in 1910, in vertical Art Nouveau style. Hopefully it will be restored one day.
