Charming and distinctive Art Nouveau example is Tērbatas street 14 - the building with clock in place of traditional corner gazebo. Built in 1909 as a bank building. Black granite which is used as cladding on this building was brought from Finland and Sweden. The building was neglected during Soviet times, it was reconstructed in 2007 (costs: about 1,5 mio EUR). However it's not as posh as it was 100 years ago, because reliefs were aureate back then. [full_width]
