VEF factory

VEF factory was once mightiest factory in Latvia and it's industrial complex is still worth-to-see place in Teika district. Here you see the main manufacturing hall which was built in 1899, at that time the factory belonged to UNION and from 1904 for some time it was part of international corporation AEG. Building's facade is decorated with Zeus sculpture as a symbol for it's production - electrotechnical goods. [full_width]
