Riga 810th Anniversary celebrations: 2nd Day

Yesterday I spent all day wandering around attractions of Riga City Festival or, in other words - Riga's 810th birthday celebrations. Most inspiring event for me was Turkish dervish music - Konya Turkish Tasawwuf Music Ensemble performance. I had liked soufie music before but have never seen Dervish dance in life, and it fascinated me.

Also good old tradition - 24 hours basketball game between Riga's right and left banks was (and while I'm writing this post in the middle of night - still is) going on. I'm living in right bank, btw, and "our team" was in lead when I watched the game couple of hours ago.

In Alberta street you could gone back in 100 years past (when this street and many other Riga centre streets with all their Art Nouveau buildings were just started to built). People dressed in old costumes played out some funny "everyday episodes" of that time. Here a young gentleman is trying to impress 3 ladies... he succeeded to arrange next meetings with them:

Ladies smiled also at me - a man from the future :)

Most lovely small car I've seen - it had only 3 wheels but spidometer was adjusted to show 100 km/h.

And a bit spicy pic as the last one:
