A bit chilling picture in this hot weather time... This large Historism building was the first one in Baltic states built with a purpose to be the museum. It is standing on Valdemāra street and is one of few Riga buildings which is like a small palace. It houses more than 52,000 works of art of the Baltic area from the middle of the 18th century up until the present time.
