Warmer than in Rome
The spring is here on the full scale! Today temperature in Riga reached +18, and as I saw on weather news, it is warmer than in Rome, where today only +14 were predicted. Quite rare when Northern Europe is warmer than Southern Europe.
My reaction to this beautiful day was opening the season of scooter driving - I drove from Bauska town (60 km from Riga, my other home is there) and made a stop in Ķekava town, which is a part of Riga urban area. Right on the roadside there is Ķekava Lutheran Church - a small but very pretty one. Originally built in 1783, but several times reconstructed.
