This is the most "fresh" picture I have posted in my blog - took it some 20 minutes ago while making hot chocolate in my kitchen, this is the view from my window. The fresh snowfall today have made all look like in the middle of winter again. This traffic infrastructure is very new - just 2 years ago there were a greeen trees instead of these elevated highways. I will post a picture of how it looked like tomorrow.

You mean - highway close to my windows? No, not at all. I have used to traffic noise, but as you see therea are anti-noise walls, and they do their job reallyu good. After all, it's much better than in previous place in Riga where I lived, where I saw only grey wall of neighbouring commieblock.
