Punkva caves and Macocha abyss

Just returned from vacation and can present you Punkva caves and Macocha abyss - places of Moravian Karst system in Czech Republic. There is also an underground river Punka, which flows through the caves. Macocha abyss is deepest sinkhole of light hole type sinkholes in Central Europe - it's 138 metres deep. The caves, with their stalactites and stalagmites, are impressive too. In these photos, you see them a bit manipulated in colors - wanted to accent the blue and yellow color play which wasn't that harsh in reality.

  1. I have seen, here in Montana USA, the Lewis and Clark cavernes, very similar.
